Proverbs 3: 5, 6 Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight.

1 Timothy 5:8 Anyone who does not provide for their relatives, and especially for their own household, has denied the faith and is worse than an unbeliever.

Why have insurance? It’s protection against risk. A company or agency provides a guarantee for specific loss in return for paying a premium. Its protection against something that might happen or will happen.

More expensive, higher insurance premium
Higher deductible, lower cost. SAVE to cover the deductible

II. Home
Catastrophes like water back up, fire, hail damage.
Keep comparing and be ready to change companies
Umbrella: a good idea for home and cars. Costs might be above coverage.

III. Life Insurance
Necessary for young couples with children
Practical and biblical: Death is likely. Life insurance makes provision for family needs
Whole, term, and variations: term is often adequate.

IV. Health care
Options are varied and continually changing
Choose based on needs and seasons of life
