Identifying Our Problem

M Let’s get real. What is our (yours and mine) greatest money problem? 'I make too small in income. My spouse is irresponsible. I want more than I can afford.'
V Consider this. Very likely our money problem is a lack of contentment. Scripture tells us we can be content in all circumstances. Philippians 4:11. We want a bigger house that we can comfortably afford. Maybe our future income will grow to accommodate our desire. We acquire that big mortgage. We need transportation. A new car delivered to my door. The list goes on, bur children are watching. Maybe listening to the arguments over money.
M Start with this basic truth. It’s all God’s on loan for us to steward wisely. There’s our motivation. A sure foundation for God dependence.
