Proverbs 11

I’m Miriam Neff and I’m Valerie Neff Hogan with Wise Women Managing Money.

M We often quote Proverbs when talking about money.  Proverbs 11 is one of my favorite chapters.  Gaining riches is placed, as it should be, in the big picture of how to get it and how to spend it.

V Verse 25 states that the generous person will be enriched.  God often does bless the generous with more resources.  But being ‘enriched’ means more than financial worth.  The enriched person focuses on their spiritual wealth as a Christ follower.  Verse 28 says we’ll be like green leaves. Shade and comfort for others and potential to grow ourselves. 

M A greater goal than more riches, is to be enriched by God.
