Intentional Gifts

M Gifts are meant to be intentional, outward expressions of our gratitude and love for those in our lives.  They are also meant to mirror gifts given to our Lord to celebrate his arrival. 

V Gifts are only one small way we can express we care.  A written note about someone’s best attributes, excellence you have observed in their lives, these are meaningful.  One small, well thought out, purposeful gift is more meaningful than big dollars shelled out on impulse.

M What gifts did you actually save, treasure, and remember?  I’ve saved more letters and cards than things.  Consider giving something with that person’s picture on it, a personalized calendar.  Celebrate the person and their creator. That’s what Christmas is for.
