24 Investing Talents

M The parable of the talents in Matthew 25 shows God gives to us with the intent that we invest and multiply his gifts.  He did not judge harshly those with smaller talents for earning smaller returns.  He did judge the one who hid his talent and earned nothing.

V Don’t think because you have just a little money that what you do is unimportant.  We have choices.  We might say the steward with 5 talents invested in stocks, equity.  The 2-talent person, real estate, the 1 talent person put their money in a shoe box. They didn’t even get a 401K match!  No return.

M  We’ve oversimplified here, but clearly, we want to be the commended steward who has multiplied wisely what God has entrusted.
