M Marriage usually means two people have different perspectives on money.  Rarely do both agree wisely to be good savers.  Rarely do both agree to live foolishly, just for the day, and make no preparation for tomorrow.

V Start simply.  We suggest that you track things together.  Evidence speaks.  Just seeing where the money is going is the foundation for asking the question together.  ‘Is this where we want it to go?’  Be prepared for surprises, looking at credit card records together, bank withdrawals, just look at the data.

M We know it’s hard work.  Finances are a common source of arguments.  I can assure you that when you arrive, agreeing on finances, it’s worth the effort.
