No Wardrobe

I’m Miriam Neff and I’m Valerie Neff Hogan with Wise Women Managing Money.

M I Timothy 6:8 tells us to be content if we have food and clothing.  In our travels to Africa, we enter the homes of widows.  Rarely a 12 by 12 square space divided by a curtain for sleeping quarters, a mat on the ground, and a place to sit with all 3 kitchen utensils in a corner.

V No closet for wardrobes, no shelves for kitchen wares.  Clothes they wear and maybe a spare.  One meal a day that may be small, yet, they smile, greet us warmly into their home and welcome us into their world.  They love their children and wish more for their future.

M Perspective my friend.  You are clothed and have eaten.  Be content.
