Helping Hand

I’m Miriam Neff and I’m Valerie Neff Hogan with Wise Women Managing Money.

M God instructs us to be generous and help those in need.  A helping hand might be a turning point in a person’s life who has hit a hard time, or an enabling hand that encourages an irresponsible person to continue to be irresponsible.

V How can you determine when helping actually hurts. It helps to know if they are on a budget.  Is this a lifetime problem or is it a systemic overspending issue?  A class on budgeting and a mentor might be a better gift than money.

M Remember, helping depends on the needs of that person to move them forward.
