Uncertainty #1
I’m Miriam Neff with WWMM and I’m Valerie Neff Hogan.
M Most of us love the predictable so that our plan will work. All will be OK. Times are uncertain for sure. Unrest in different parts of the world impacts us. Not just our sense of security. But our budgets.
V Rarely do world events like aggressive moves by one country toward another does not impact us. Energy costs, whether gas pumps or utilities. Supply chains when grain rich exporting countries are attacked. Rather than be surprised, we should be prepared. We recommend a 3–6-month budget reserve for each person or household. As you reach into those savings, don’t be frozen. Immediately adjust expenses to accommodate what has mushroomed.
M We’re not saying it’s easy. Simply necessary, and good stewardship. After all, it’s all God’s on loan to us.
