Wise investments

I’m Miriam Neff,  and I’m Valerie Neff Hogan, with Wise Women Managing Money

V Money to buy a large cotton candy will also buy oatmeal for a week of breakfasts. Nineteen hundred dollars will buy one ounce of gold or a soon outdated designer handbag.

While we have the highest per capita spending for health care,  our life expectancy statistics are just average for developed countries.

M $50,000 will buy you a small house in some states or a Ford Mustang.  Resale value? Fluctuations occur. How much does each benefit the owner? Let’s not guilt trip anybody here.  I splurge on my grandchildren.  But let’s regularly revisit what we buy and why.

V It’s been said, if you need it and should buy it, at least wait a day, maybe more, and pray for wisdom.
