Till Our Field

M An important Scripture is that we till our field before we build our house. Given those agrarian times, wealth came from planting and harvesting. You did not build a big residence, hoping for a bumper crop from your little acre.
V What does ‘tilling our field’ look like today. Well in a garden, it starts with small seeds. Work, planting, weeding, watering, and pruning of some resources. Summarizing into two words: Pay Attention.
V For each person that means know what’s coming in. Translation to today: better to have an affordable house regardless of unpredictable crops (or income), than debt, credit costs, and even bankruptcy.
