Proverbs 18 1

Proverbs 18 1

I’m Miriam Neff, and I’m Valerie Neff Hogan, with Wise Women Managing Money.

M Are you tempted to do a halfhearted job on some days? Every day may not be peak production, but to be only partially productive is serious.

V Proverbs 18:9 One who is slack in work is close kin to a vandal. And often times laziness perpetuates more laziness and less opportunity for meaningful work. If you do poorly at a job, you might get fired at that position, but also get no reference to get your next position. Its vandalizing your work place.

M Being watched should not be the motivator to be a productive worker. Slacking off is likened to stealing. Working with diligence builds character, your reputation and honors God.
