M Retirement is on folks minds these days with inflation surging and the markets shrinking. Most folks have come to accept retirement as a possible goal. Social security may or may not make that possible.
V Scripture affirms some forms of retirement. Instructions also include saving for lean times when income and resources are less. Matthew 6 affirms that folks get anxious about this, yet God knows our needs. We are admonished to not be anxious, instead to rely on God’s provision.
M One important lesson is that we be flexible. We do not know whether health issues, disasters, or continued expected provisions will be ahead. Scripture is clear. Seek Him first, not wealth. Depend first on Him for everything.
