August Spending 1

M August is school opening time.  Opportunity to learn, opportunity to spend.  School fees are a given.  Some can be subsidized depending on family income.  Necessary expenses can be $100.00 and more.

V What student doesn’t want new clothes, a cooler phone, some other gadget that’s popular?  It’s a good time for that family conversation about what matters.  Proverbs 2:10 talks of the value of wisdom and knowledge.  Scripture repeats that wisdom is more valuable than gold or any other sparkly item. 

M Back to school time is good family discussion time.  A great time for students to be a part of budget planning.  Their wants, their needs, and family priorities.
