Lazy Persons

M Proverbs is full of wisdom about money.  The topic of lazy persons appears 14 times.  What’s the connection?  Providing for one’s self and one’s family requires effort, productivity.

V Proverbs 10:4, Lazy hands make for poverty, but diligent hands bring wealth.  Many verses state that the lazy person neither plants, tills, or harvests his fields.  He even states he cannot leave the house for fear of a lion in the streets.  Proverbs 26:13. Lazy people have lots of excuses. 

M Ecclesiastes often repeats that there is nothing more satisfying than to find enjoyment in one’s toil. One key to sound financial footing is to be productive.
