Changing Bad Habits

I’m Miriam Neff and I’m Valerie Neff Hogan with Wise Women Managing Money.

M A repeated plan of action is like Ready, Aim, Fire.  A bad habit is like, Fire first and then recover from the consequences.   Bad habit, Buy then borrow and regret the consequences.  Spending has a parallel, good plan of action.  Plan, Compare, Buy.

V What triggers that impulse purchase?  Scrolling online, entering that favorite store?  Change the habit.  Shopping is not a good form of entertainment.  It brings discontent, debt, then regret and waste.

M Ask God for wisdom to guide your mind in changing that habit. James 1:5 If any of you is lacking in wisdom, ask God who gives to all generously and ungrudgingly, and it will be given you.
