Reserves - Expectations

M When our world shakes, which happens regularly, some succumb to dooms-day expectations.  All is bad.  Everything will implode.  Our financial institutions, our freedoms in our country.  In my youth, some were building underground bunkers, in southern Indiana!

V As Christ followers, we need the foundation of truth that God is in control; not evil leaders of countries, not even the weather.  Wisely we prepare.  We have three-to-six-month savings to cover our living if jobs go away, home repairs needed, or health issues.  We can appropriately carry insurance for the unexpected. We help each other through tough times.

M Be careful who you listen to.  Dig into Scripture first, and then listen to others and look at the world.
