07 Financial Confidence

I’m Miriam Neff and I’m Valerie Neff Hogan with Wise Women Managing Money.

M Why do women sometimes avoid gaining information and planning that would make them financially confident?  Some excuses we’ve heard are: ‘Brain doesn’t work that way, boring, no time, creates arguments, my husband doesn’t like me asking.’

V Think of having a conversation with Jesus about what He has entrusted to you. Yes, marital assets are yours also.  What would Jesus say?  He says, ‘I’ve created you with the ability to maximize what I’ve entrusted to you.’  He says, ‘If you lack wisdom, ask. That’s a prayer I always answer.’  Yes, we will face him one day so let’s learn from him today.
