Tax Return

M If you are receiving a tax return, look at that as a learning opportunity.  Our government did not give you back your money, nor was it theirs to begin with.

V The Earth is the Lords and all that is in it 1 Corinthians 10:26

Whatever you earned is God’s entrusted to you.  Yes, government does some national tasks, often inefficiently; yet we owe them.  When you look at that return, think “This is God’s, on loan, entrusted to me.”  Apply it to pay off debt, give generously to Kingdom causes, or start an emergency fund. 

M Tax time is time to consider who we trust and who we count on to meet our needs.  No comparison.  God is and does.
