Money worries

I’m Miriam Neff, and I’m Valerie Neff Hogan, with Wise Women Managing Money

M The average worker spends 150 hours a year worrying about money.  That loss of productivity results in a $250 billion loss. 84 % of companies  are now offering debt management tools and other resources.

V  The best counseling tool is Scripture.  Thousands of references instruct on what we ‘own,’ how we oversee what God has entrusted to us and gives clear, specific guidance.  The foundation of a good financial plan is this:  Be content with what you have:  lots or little.  Philippians 4: 11, 12 Paul in prison had learned it.  Paul states in I Timothy 6:6 godliness with contentment is great gain.

M  Debt incurred wanting contentment from  cars, living space, wardrobe, or anything else means debt and worries. That contentment is temporary at best. God’s plan is better.
